Woohoo! Go Allyson!

tired

current mood: tired

As you might recall from previous entries, I met Allyson Sereboff while filming Poultrygeist. She's the only one I still keep in touch with on a regular basis (Not regularly enough if you ask me, however.)

"Allyson Sereboff began her career working in television communications, coordinating the interface between a major television network and such ceremonies and festivals as the Emmys and Sundance. Born and raised in Baltimore, MD she attended American University, in Washington, DC, and majored in pre-law with a goal of practicing entertainment law. Realizing she had a passion for acting, she left DC for New York, where she attended the William Esper School and studied Meisner method acting. For the past five years she has continued to study, and has performed in stage theatre showcases, student films and independents feature films. Poultrygeist is her first Troma film." ~The Poultrygeist site

Since filming for Poultrygeist ended, she's been "just keeping busy, the usual. Studying for some upcoming shoots she has, rehearsing.. just realllllly pluggin away."

So, anyway, today I get an email from her, the subject reading "FW: New Christmas Day trailer - internet only." So I had to read it.

"Music by Saliva
"Ladies and Gentlemen"

Play the trailer loud.

Also, Evil Deeds now available on Amazon.com

Steve Rahaman
Falling Leaves Films
"

I watched it, and I gotta say, it looks real good.

"It was supposed to be a short but people are diggin it so we are turning it into a feature." ~Allyson
So I search YouTube to see if I could find any other stuff with her in it, and sure enough, I find this:

Which is her (Faling Leaves) audition, for what I don't know (I think it's for Evil Deeds, but I'm not sure), but DAMN o.o ♥

And here's the trailer for Evil Deeds:

Yoko Ishida concert

October 1st, 2005 (12:06 pm)
current mood: still sleepy
current song: "OPEN YOUR MIND ~Chiisa na Hane Hirogete~" ~Yoko Ishida

The concert was great, although it only last an hour and a half. And Yoko was kawaii, too. The very first song she performed was "Towa no Hana," which is my favorite song.

She also performed:

"OPEN YOUR MIND ~Chiisa na Hane Hirogete~"
"Jounetsu no Megami"
"White Destiny"
"Sugar Baby Love (Japanese, and English)"

Para-Para remixes of:
"Cruel Angel Thesis"
"Let Me Be With You"
"Just Communication"

And several more songs that I don't know the names of.. ^^;;;

And I can't Para-Para for shit XD;

Afterwards, I got my copy of "all of me" signed, and had my picture taken with her ♥

I am SO happy I found Anime Sheet Music for Piano.

From there, I've got the sheet music for:

  • "Sunlit Garden" from Shoujo Kakumei Utena
  • "Toki ni Ai wa" ~Masami Okui; from the Shoujo Kakumei Utena movie
  • "Fukai Mori" ~Do As Infinity; from Inu-Yasha

"Sunlit Garden" is the first song I want to learn.

Last night was my first ritual, and damn, was it one hell of an early birthday present from myself! As usual, the doors opened at 7, but there were like 6 or 7 supporting bands (I lost count), so Otep didn't start playing until like 11 and we didn't get out until like 1. Most of the supporting bands were pretty good, but others weren't.

But shit, Otep was fucking amazing! I lost myself in the music from the get-go. My soul was freed from its bodily confines when they started playing Battle Ready, and didn't return to it until Menocide was finished. I was screaming every fucking word of every song, with all of my soul.

During one of the supporting bands, I look over to my left, and who do I see? Evil J, Otep's bassist! I was like "Holy shit!! ...I should've brought a damn Sharpie... Dammit!"

I had to walk home in a downpour while it was lightning with no umbrella, but it was definitely worth it, to see Otep in concert.

I definitely hope Otep will bring the revolution back to Buffalo. Last night was... Wow...
